Powder Works cleans, iron phosphate etches (for superior adhesion), and applies your specified powder paints or a high quality in-house stock powder to your metal parts and components. Our system is designed with the flexibility to competitively run both very large and small batch sizes with the use of two quick-change inline spray booths.



  • Parts are hung and configured on an overhead conveyor to achieve maximum throughput through the system without sacrificing part quality during the powder application process.
  • The parts first enter our 70 foot long, three stage cleaning, iron phosphate etching, and rinsing wash system. This system which is the backbone to achieving a quality, long lasting finish is calibrated daily by our experts in-house and is also routinely inspected by our cleaning and etching chemical suppliers.
  • After passing through a dry-off oven the powder is applied in one of two of our application booths. We utilize a Wagner Cymod paint reclaim booth for large batch sizes and a non-reclaim booth for small batch sizes. Both booths are equipped with the latest Wagner spray equipment.
  • Once the powder is applied, the parts immediately enter our 2000 sq. ft. convection cure oven. The oven is designed to efficiently and precisely cure the powder per the paint manufacturer’s specifications for time and temperature.
  • All parts are then inspected; counts are verified and finally safely packaged for shipment.
